Saturday, 28th February, 2009 - Today, Jasmine and her classmates had a whale of an enjoyable time at McDonalds. Dash joined the gang, clicked pretty well with the boys and ended up playing with kittens for the very first time ! 3 young kittens belonging to 3 boys .... ain't they cute little darlings?
Jasmine ended up inviting her friends over to our house, 3 boys and her best girlfriend ... together with the 3 kittens too !! Mommy gave them the freedom to play, so they had a round of cycling and games at the playground. Dash was so fascinated with the kittens that he cuddled the kittens and stroke the kittens' fur with the kitten placed on his shoulder.
In the evening, after a fresh shower, off we went to a housewarming party thrown by a cousin sister, after placing the kittens into our clean white giant kitchen trashbin !! Well, they were such good climbers, so no choice lah ...
Had a great evening at the cousin sister's housewarming party. The longan jelly made for the occassion on her special request ... well, ahem ... as usual habisssss semuanya :-) Managed to catch up with 3rd aunt & hubby, 4th aunt, 4th uncle, mom, sisters and brother-in-laws, cousins, nephews and nieces too.
2 of the boys, twins : Vincent and Victor, stayed the night. Jenny as well ... glad she called earlier telling me she wants to come and stay the night too.
Sunday, 1st March, 2009 - This morning, the kids were up early. After a hearty breakfast of take-away leftovers from yesterday's party ... yummy curry puffs (especially the home-made ones made from yam !!!), mee hoon with curry, buttered prawns, cakes, jelly and keropok ... the kids went cycling again. Later, they ended up in the koi pond, catching guppies for sale. Alas, the number of male guppies caught were not enough to justify a trip to the fish shop, so, had to let them back into the pond ^_^ Was such a mess !!! With the kittens running all over the place, one black one even climbed onto my bed while I was still in lullaland, I nearly screamed when I heard the kitten purring near me !!!! Argghhhh ! Ha ha ... what an unusual way to wake up ^_^
Anyway, guess it's alright to let the kids have some freedom to play hard ... made them clean up after that and well, they did quite a good job lah ^_^
Monday, 2nd March, 2009 - On the way home from school, Jasmine excitedly told me that her friends went back to school, described the fun they had and well, all her friends now wants to stay over at our house during the coming school holiday !!! OMG !!! What have I done ???? He he he ... my response : Aiyo ! Then your friends will come will all sorts of pets, our house will end up a ZOO leh ! Ha ha ... all had a real good laugh at this ... hmm ... feels young now ! No wonder I have been hearing nice recent remarks : Wah, Odelia ... you look so much younger and more beautiful now. This look suits you so much !
