11th March, 2009 - This morning, I finally took the first step towards serious creation of my FFA - YES! My very first Financial Freedom Account ^_^
It's ironic that I was brought up in a family where women were taught to 'sacrifice', others above self. Good or bad huh? Good at times, bad at times I guess .... hmmm .... food for thought here.
Been through a paradigm shift, well, kind of. Previously, never really nuture the 'love myself' virtue. So, sacrifice all in the name of love for family was the way to go .... Didn't know how to say NO and thus, was taken for granted. Likewise, I took others for granted as well .... till I learned the painful way. Here's one banner I took a personal liking :
Pay myself first. If I don't, how can I pay others?
Love myself first. If I don't, how can I love others?
So, I am gonna keep filling my FFA jar, 20 grams of gold for now, then add at least 5 grams each and every month. Everything is a habit mah! EeeeHah !!!
