29th March, 2009 - The kids were at the Buddhist Class this morning. During dinner time, the kids related to me about what they learned today ... stories about meditation and paying respect to Buddha. How, by being faithful and observe the practice of 108 prays, lots of good things and blessings would happen. How this practice would make a person more compassionate.Dash asked : Mummy, why don't you practice this? Mummy replied : You demonstrate to me lah, then only I can follow and learn :-) With that, Bob immediately clasped his hands together, bowed, kneeled down, touched his forehead against the floor while putting his palms facing down beside his ears and stood up before repeated the process! There you go, Mummy, this is how the teachers taught us just now. Just repeat 108 times and you will get it, quite easy one ... he he ... although quite tiring ^_^
It was quite heartening to witness such enthusiasim in the kids when it comes to practicing buddhism for which I am glad.
