My Success Journal - 30 Jan 2008
1. This morning I received good news from MIA. They have informed me that I have successfully complied with the 2005-2007 CPE audit compliance process! I am so happy!
2. I extended a short term emergency loan to a friend in need.
3. I had my hands full with reviewing of a few urgent audit reports, and a colleague was happy to let me know that she loves my review points 'coz she gets to learn from me.
4. Sofa sets finally arrived at my new house, just in time for housewarming.

1. I introduced my colleagues to Sing Siang Huat Restaurant and had a good dinner together.
2. I undertook some review work on a few companies in the absence of the Senior Manager.
3. I managed to have a good response for the Housewarming Parties this coming Friday and Saturday: about 50pax on Friday and 60pax on Saturday.

1. I managed to take a short nap after the hospital trip.
2. Devi put a container of water and a cup next to my bed without me asking for it and got the children to lower down their voice citing 'mummy sedang tidur'.
3. I had a good night's sleep with Bob by my side. Bob seems to know mummy is not feeling too well and crawled into bed beside me without me requesting him to do so.
4. I managed to find my way to Kota Damansara and paid the balance of the sofa money so that they will deliver my sofa sets tomorrow.

1. I went out with the boys and their daddy and bought a bicycle.
2. I went for a detoxification spa at Titiwangsa and had a good sweat.
3. I accompanied mother together with 3rd sister and Connie to Giant for a good meal at Secret Recipe and shopped for groceries.

1. I secured a RM15,000 contract with Caram Asia for the year 2008, thus can sponsor my car instalments for the year without having to dig into my employment income.

My Success Journal - 24 Jan 2008
1. I listened to Di Ze Gui cd together with the kids on the way to school this morning.
2. I followed my instinct and got KP to send ZH to the doctor when he complained of stomach ache this morning even though he was given some medicine by the school teacher. The doctor sent him for X-ray and found 'motion' still stuck in his intestine, so gave him some medicine to 'clear', ZH was given 2 days to rest and he is much relieved now.
3. I asked if Zu Er is happy staying with me and the boys, she very quickly replied YES, very much and gave me one of her lovely big dimpled smile. Gave her a big hug.
4. I bought 2pcs of 2' x 5' banquet tables on offer at Summit USJ for the kids to use as their study table and with Devi's help, re-arranged the study area in the kids room and made it more conducive for them to do their daily homework.

2. I remembered to buy some management files and pocket refills for the 2 girls' music class on this coming Friday.
3. I remembered to buy flowers for today's 15th Chinese Calendar day of the month.
4. The kids remembered to pray and lit the incense this morning. Also, changed the holy water without my instruction.

1. I gave stars to the kids for having complete their tasks in the Smart Kids programme and made the kids happy, each trying to out-star each other.
2. My boys started practicing in their revision books given to them yesterday. Even ZY was enthusiastic and showed me his few completed pages.
3. I taught Zhen Ni some basic English rules on verbs. She understood the concept.
4. I dyed my hair black, DIY style, while catching up on Dr House.

1. I helped Ng Company Taiping to look at their accounts prepared by the new clerk and gave the owners assurance that the way the accounts are being drawn up is in line with previous system except for some minor adjustments needed at year end.
2. I went for a facial in Taiping.
3. I bought some more furniture in Taiping at cost.
4. I managed to speak with Thomas Ng re accounts without having to raise my voice.

2. I fetched 3rd sis and Connie from KL Sentral to their home. They remembered me and bought me a nice pretty hair clip from their Chiangmai trip.
3. I got my car number plate fixed, before I get booked by police for having incomplete number plate!
4. Mom gave away her 2" x 4" banquet table to the 3 girls, thus saving me from having to spend on a brand new table. The girls have been doing their homework on that table ever since.
5. Mom gave me some fishes and dragon fruits to take home.
6. I still managed to go shopping for new year clothes for the kids at Parkson OUG. Redeemed RM90 Parkson vouchers, thus saving me from having to fork out my own money.

1. I managed to help Zhong Hao finish his homework in time.
2. I helped Zhen Ni with her mathematics homework.
3. I spent some time relaxing in the spa at Titiwangsa to detox and chatted with big sis and mom.
4. I finally bought new toilet seat covers to replace the worn out ones at home.
5. I managed to buy study chairs for all 5 kids so that they have proper seats for their studies/homework in their own rooms.

1. I have stored in all 1st and 15th day of the chinese calendar months in my mobile so that I will not miss any offerings to Buddha.
2. I have written out the last 10 cheques for loan repayment to 3rd Aunt, finally.... being full settlement of the 'Bukit Jalil house downpayment' loan after servicing it for 6 long years! Yeeeeee har!
3. I slept well despite having only 4 hours of sleep.
4. Zhong Yuan came looking for me and snuggled up to me in bed at 5:30am..... mmm.... love his after-bath fresh smell, nice and pleasant feeling, a great way to start the day!

1. I finally bought the multipurpose ladder (originally sold at RM389) at RM268. That's a RM121 (31%) savings, after patiently waiting for the sale for > a month!
2. I bought my Money Jars (finally found them - "the perfect glass jars" at Tesco at RM3.88 each compared to the normal price of RM9-10)
3. I bought my own Black & Decker drill set, now prepared to start drilling holes and hang up my curtains, photos, etc. instead of having to wait for the contractor who takes his own sweet time. I am now in control.... yeeeeee har!
4. I finally exchanged the unused bulbs and return those bulbs on loan to Brilliang. No more "owing" Brilliang.

1. I booked myself a holiday trip to Bali for 4D 3N during CNY from 7 to 10 Feb 2008.

1. I started "Smart Kids" programme, created and designed by me where each contestant, mainly the 5 kids have to compete on a weekly basis (wef next Monday) to score stars in 4 different areas: housework, schoolwork, read&tell and good habit. Prize of the week : winner gets to choose what dessert to have on Sunday eg. ice-cream, jelly, cake, etc. All the kids were excited about the programme!
2. I went out to the playground with the kids for the first time since we moved into our new home.
3. Clare called to chat and update each other on recent happenings in our lives. Glad to have a friend who is genuine and who cares.

Glad that KP and I are able to part in such good terms. 2007 is gone but it has also made us strong. The path was long but we walked it with a song. There were fears and tears but we also had reasons for cheers. Life has no rewinds and forwards, it unfold itself at its own pace. 1. PK mentioned to me this morning that it is good that the 3 girls stay with me as mom has been complaining about the heavy responsibility bestowed on her due to PC's inability to take care of them.
2. All 5 kids came into my room this morning to wish me good morning and were excited about their first day of school.
3. I am able to forgive KP and Jo and wish them well.
4. I got my 2nd month bonus today.

1. I managed to get Dash to finish his holiday homework in time for submission to his class teacher tomorrow.
2. I gave mother a peace of mind by taking over the caring of Zhen Ni, Pei Wen and Zu Er who sometimes give her high blood pressure.
3. I finally got an honest answer from KP and am now at peace with myself and am grateful for how peaceful things turned out after the divorce.
