A Blessed Life

Once, life was mediocre
A chore even, but I thought I had it all
Mediocre lifestyle, mediocre me
Mediocre day to day struggles
Just to provide for loved ones
Or so I thought ...

Till I lost it all
Within the blink of an eye
Five years gone by ...
Tried to close both eyes
Hoping my love would somehow come back
If only I can close both eyes ...

I thought I had it all
Could not figure out what went wrong
Ah ... it was the mediocre life

Yes, now I really have it all
Children, family, friends ...
... and a new found love ...
