My Success Journal - 25 Mar 2008

1. This morning, I was rather productive in office, manage to draft and send 1 account for typing.

2. I got the fish shop's handsome one to come over to my house for a visit to check out the health status of my koi fishes. The water condition is neutral (not acidic nor alkaline) after testing and is suitable for the fishes. Just needed to put in 10ml of treatment liquid every other day for a week or two. Apparently, the most valuable koi is the 'tea' colour one which is known as the leader of koi where it is the one who will lead the rest of the koi fishes e.g. during meal time, it is the one who is always the first one to feast, then followed by the rest, which I realise is quite true. Whereas for the 'one red spot' koi, it is the 2nd valuable one because of the red spot that resemble the Japanese flag! Hmmm.... I learnt something new today.

3. Today, we brought our home-cooked dinner to the Commonwealth Hill for a picnic and thoroughly enjoyed our meal with some side dishes (tomyam soup). After dinner, we went walking up the hill where the children played some catching game while I picked some bunga cempaka for home decoration. The children had such a great time that they are asking me to bring them to the hill everyday!

4. My koi pond is 'bearing' more baby guppy fishes! Felt excited about the prospect of selling them for extra money to buy fish food and treatment liquid. Looks like I might pick up this hobby and at the same time make some money too!

5. I also kept in touch with some of my friends by calling them on the phone. Jess is resting at home, recovering after her operation; Pauline who has not been feeling well due to stress is also resting at home; Clare who is supposed to pick up the booklet on real estate agent test from me wants to get 2 guppy fishes for her empty aquarium after hearing my guppy-selling story; mother-in-law is due for her knee operation on friday.

6. I sent off an email re NCTSB form E samples to my ex for his reference as I am no longer available to take up the responsibility from this year onwards.
