1. Got the children to say something positive about each child while on the way to school this morning, instead of the usual complaints they had for each other. Zu Er was the first ... her smiles are irresistible (so cute you want to pinch her cheeks!), she eats, bathes, sleeps without an adult's supervision/help. Pei Wen ... helps out in the kitchen, Zhong Yuan ... eats on his own, wears his own clothes, Zhong Hao ... is good with the computer and gadgets, Zhen Ni ... helps the younger ones with their homework ... a good start for appreciating each other !
2. This morning, me and my big bro-in-law made amends and apologies for what happened during the past 2 days were exchanged and accepted.
3. I went out for lunch with colleagues today after one whole week of 'no lunch preferred'.
4. My colleague who just got back from Bali gave me a nice little souvenir (aromatic home-made soap, essential oil and flower candle).
